Examining Erb's Palsy

Erb's Palsy remains a condition that many people are not entirely familiar and because of this a clear definition of the condition is required. On a baseline level, Erb's Palsy is a condition where there is limited feeling or movement in the arm. A common cause of this condition is a traumatic birth or labor period. As such, if a child is born during a difficult pregnancy the potential for developing Erb's palsy is quite high. The condition, however, is treatable and can be corrected with surgery and, in some cases, it can actually heal on its own but such instances are quite often rare.
